VDS U

The VDS U is the ideal one- or two-fold dispensing system for series production of electronic parts under vacuum. The compact design, simple operation and short evacuation times allow rational series production with optimum results.

For handling of:
liquid, self-leveling materials such as polyurethane, silicon and epoxy resins.

Area of application:
Dispensing, potting, filling and soaking of electronic components, coils, sensors and much more.

Advantages:
  • Reliable and accurate repeated dispensing results
  • Optimum bubble-free components even with difficult and complex work piece shapes and geometries
  • User friendly programming and monitoring
  • Compact dimensions and pleasant design

Function:
The VDS U is monitored via the microcomputer controller of the A300 material preparation and feeding unit.

The already degassed dispensing material is supplied from the A300 through the vacuum-sealed metering head into the vacuum chamber. In vacuum, which value is adjustable to suit the requirements, the resin is dispensed in precise positions into or onto the work pieces.
The 3-axis system guarantees a precise parts positioning and thus the ultimate dispensing quality.

Upgrades:
The VDS U is available in two versions. The differences between the two models are in the size of the vacuum chamber, the movement range of the work piece and the dispensing spots (one- or two- fold metering head)

The control cabinet with the Microcomputer panel or with an industrial PC controller can be mounted also directly onto the vacuum chamber.

The Universal comes as standard with the Scheugenpflug piston-metering head to achieve ultimate metering quality with repeated accuracy.

In combination with the A300 material preparation- and feeding unit the Universal represents the perfect dispensing system for vacuum-assisted applications.
