Cartridges
|
Cartridges are smaller dispensing material containers which are particularly suitable for materials with limited shelf lives or if only small amounts are used in production. The cartridges are normally supplied already filled by the resin manufacturer or supplier. For processing of: low viscous, unfilled resins. Area of application: Unproblematic applications under atmospheric pressure. |

Function: The material is fed with the aid of compressed air. This presses the extraction stamp onto the cartridge plug (cartridge base) and thus presses the material out of the cartridge and into the Scheugenpflug piston metering system.

| Variants: For motionless metering, the cartridges can be mounted directly on the metering unit without any piping. For highly viscous materials, a booster for increasing pressure is available.

For small applications, Scheugenpflug recommends the compact Dos A90. This manual workplace comprises the metering controller with a pneumatic unit, a Scheugenpflug metering system, a material supply unit (cartridges or pressurized containers) and the stand. |
